During my career, I have received
recognition and top honors in numerous juried
competitions, both local and national.
In 2006, I won Best in Show for my
pastel painting "Smokamo."
In 2007 I received Best In Show at the 1st Annual Paulding
Fine Arts Juried Competition for my oil painting "Dahling
Dahlia." In 2007 the painting won 1st place
in oils during the PFAA Annual Open competition
Also in 2007, my work was accepted by
"Art of the Golden Generation" where I was awarded
the People's Choice award for my painting "Crouching
Creamer Hidden Apple" which was displayed at the
Cobb/Marietta Museum.
Recently "Crouching
Creamer" was chosen to appear in a book to be published
this year as part of a collaborative effort illustrating the
art of Cobb High School Seniors and Senior Citizens, in
celebration of Cobb County's 175th anniversary.
