The passion to create art burns like a fire in me.  I eat, drink and sleep it, and there isn't a rock, leaf, bird or crumbling building that isn't beautiful to my eye.  To me, everything I see is a painting waiting to happen.

    I teach a method called contour line drawing, better known as drawing from the right side of the brain.  This method is ancient, fool proof, easy to learn and fun.  You learn the method in one day, and within 6 weeks you can draw any subject you choose.  I've taught this method for over 30 years, and it amazes me still.

   Often I find that the beginning student is afraid to make a mistake, which then hardens the mind against exploration, and without exploration, creativity can't happen.  I  find myself reminding them to loosen up, it's not 14 karat gold; it's just paint!
